Apricot butter is a hydrogenated apricot kernel oil. At room temperature, it has the consistency of light butter with noticeable lumps. When heated, it becomes more homogeneous and as such can be used as a base for lotions, creams, and soaps. Apricot butter creates a greasy film on the skin which is absorbed after a few minutes, leaving the skin moisturized and without the oily feeling.

It also has antioxidant properties, which help slow down skin aging. The butter also has revitalizing and regenerating properties.
