Cat’s claw extract was originally applied in folk medicine of South American tribes. “Cat’s claw” is the common name for Uncaria tomentosa. It results from the fact that the vines of the plant resemble claws. The bark is the most precious part of the plant. Depending on the species, it can be yellow, beige or brown.
