Calendula flower extract has anti-inflammatory, regenerative and soothing properties. It is widely used in cosmetics and pharmaceutical products, as well as in the care of problematic skin.
The product is used in the production of creams, ointments, emulsions, lotions and products for sensitive, irritated skin, eczema and AD. The extract soothes inflammation and counteracts cellular oxidation.
Extract composition:
The extract contains:
- approx. 1.9% essential oils,
- 1.0% carotenoids (counted as β-carotene),
- 18.3% faradiol esters – ingredients with strong anti-inflammatory effects,
- 7.4% triterpene alcohols,
- 1.6% sterols, which promote skin regeneration and epidermal reconstruction.
The raw material meets pesticide residue standards in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 396/2005.
